Basically they are inserted below your WC seat .In the versions that come with a seat/cover, the whole unit is attached to the WC ( similar to a seat installation). For model MBA-202 you would need a connection to a hot water line. For the electronic models( eg. MBE502),you don’t need a hot water line since this model comes with its own inbuilt heating system.

The MBA202 model has an inbuilt mixer for the cold and hot water lines to give you warm water at temperatures suitable to you. However, it does not have its own heating mechanism ( like the electronic models). You therefore have to connect one of its inlets to a hot water line from a geyser (available at a wash basin or bath shower).
